my dad was my best friend, my mentor, my role model. i miss him every day but his words and savvy are always with me, he encouraged me every step of the way with my ideas for kai. he was my biggest fan and my biggest supporter!
a few months ago i came across this photo of us dancing, we always danced. it has been one of my favorites--i treasure it. we were in the process of developing the kai blog and this photo inspired our "treasures" category. even years later he inspires me when i'm least expecting it...
