gift guide: drop a hint
the saying goes "it's better to give than to receive" and i'm all for it. i love finding that perfect something for each and every person on my list. that being said i really, truly love receiving, too! especially when it's something i've been wanting. it's not the most romantic thing, but i'm kind of notorious for putting things that i really want on hold for peter, my husband, so all he has to do is go buy it--i'm thrilled with my present, i win the oscar feigning utter surprise upon opening, and he's relieved by the ease of it! he tends to start hand-wringing and experiencing general anxiety (i'm exaggerating but not by much) over the pressure of picking out gifts for me so i had the idea to make it easier for him.
point being, there is nothing wrong with dropping a hint. how about asking for a little "me" time? a nice long bath with kai bathing bubbles, a kai candle (or a few) and an amazing glass of your favorite wine.
happy holidays!

'Just checked out this awesome site for some gift ideas and found a cool feature that lets you generate timestamped YouTube links quickly. It's really helpful when you want to share specific moments from videos, like in the conversations with Jessica Lee Davis and Queenie Nguyen mentioned here. #youtube timestamp link #youtube time link generator'
