abbot kinney first fridays

the food truck has come a very, very long way. what used to be a staple at construction sites, roach coach...what??? is now a super hip and uber cool gourment statement. although i consider myself a foodie through and through the food truck frenzy really appeals to me. a nice walk in the evening air, a bit of people watching and anything you could possibly want to eat? love it, love it!
 
in my estimation, the best of the best:
 
known for their lobster rolls, i like the maine one, and clam chowder. two of my favorite meals in the world...soooo good!
 
made to order wood-fired pizza, crust to die for.
 
also very popular
goat cheese and brie grilled cheese (i add carmalized onions on this one)
cheesy mac and rib grilled cheese
