it's such a gift how stepping out of the "work zone" can bond and refresh your team. every now and again we set an evening on the kai calendar to try a buzzed-about new restaurant - or a trusty standby - and just take a couple of hours off. with the time change last week, we scored an ideal table by the window at tar & roses to settle into a wonderful meal (squid ink fettuccini & sunchokes to start) and enjoy a couple of extra hours of daylight, and our company's company, as night fell in santa monica...
