for a number of years the book "the four agreements" by don miguel ruiz has been a great source of inspiration for me. and though i've read it many times over those years i recently picked it up again. it's one of those books that i should probably keep on my bedside table or maybe even in my purse. it's that important. the principles are deceptively easy; putting them into practice is a whole other ball game. how many of us have fallen prey to doing exactly the opposite of these 4 agreements: "be impeccable with your word." "don't take anything personally." "don't make assumptions." and lastly but, most importantly, "always do your best" because if we always do our best at applying the first three agreements that's all we can do. our best.
i hope you enjoy this many times over as i have.
