on saturday we had the privilege of hosting a charity ride for local nonprofit a walk on water at soulcycle in malibu. good company, great cause, perfect weather and a workout?! sounds like my ideal saturday.

a walk on water provides surf therapy to special needs children (and now adults) and their families. since its founding, they've used stand up paddle boards for tandem surf lessons. they need new proper + safe equipment to accommodate the adults. we are proud to say we raised enough money to purchase their first custom surfboard, from sustainable surf and russell hoyte! these boards will be made with sustainability in mind, and most importantly, allow a walk on water to do what they do safer and better.

the kai team was lucky to be joined by a walk on water founders + families, planet blue malibu, bu beach house, gather mag, and kevin lynch studios among many others who tapped it back for this important charity. (thank you, kevin, for photographing the event!)
