behind the scenes with gather

gather magazine recently approached me about doing an "at home and away" segment of an ongoing blog series they've begun. being extremely private and really not enjoying having my picture taken i was, let's say, a bit hesitant. but i was a trooper and i did it... with a little help from my friends. specifically, whitney woidtke, who did my makeup and hair artist alexis ramos of cie sparks salon in malibu for making me feel beautiful, my angel katie for bringing everything together and the fantastic girls from gather for putting me at ease and making it really fun! lastly, my beautiful husband who makes me laugh! and looks damn hot doing it! we finished the shoot just moments before the heavens opened up and on a rare day in malibu it rained. perfect end to a perfect day!
