barefoot dreams has long been a favorite neighbor of ours here at kai, as a brand who was also "born and raised" in malibu in the 1990s. the company, who is known for offering the softest flannels, silkiest washable satins and coziest knits on the planet, was founded here in 1994, just a few years before kai was created. we share this rich history as neighbors in southern california, and we also share the same strong brand values and vision of offering a range of products that are luxurious, elegant, and soothing to the senses. barefoot dreams and kai are both companies who believe in this mission to the core.
as barefoot dreams launches their beautiful first-ever flagship store in malibu this week at 23401 civic center way, suite 3d (click here for more details), we wanted to give a special shout-out and congratulations to their team on this incredibly exciting new initiative. we're looking forward to visiting the store soon to pick up some new pieces for beach season. we also wanted to share with you our most beloved "must haves" for summer, which are featured below. take a read below, and best wishes for a happy fourth!
